In order to complete the connection correctly, we kindly ask you to verify that your TikTok account is set to the Italy region.
TikTok provides an official feature called “Account region”, which in some cases allows users to update the country or region associated with their account. According to TikTok’s official Help Center, this can be changed either from the mobile app or from the web version of the account.
How to check or change your TikTok account region
From the TikTok app:
Open TikTok.
Go to Profile.
Tap the ☰ menu in the top right corner.
Open Settings and privacy.
Tap Account.
Tap User information.
Open Account region.
If available, select Italy.
From a web browser:
Log in to your TikTok account in your browser.
Click your profile picture.
Open Settings.
Under Manage account, look for Account region.
If available, select Italy.
TikTok’s requirements for changing the account region
According to TikTok’s official guidance, in order to change your account region you must meet certain requirements, including:
you must be living in the new country/region and be active on TikTok there;
you must meet the minimum age requirement for the new country/region;
you may need to settle any rewards or benefits linked to the previous country/region, such as LIVE rewards or LIVE subscriptions;
you should be using the latest version of the TikTok app.
TikTok also notes that, after changing the region, you may not be able to change it back, and that some features may vary depending on the selected country or region.
Important note regarding TikTok Shop
For TikTok Shop, TikTok’s official documentation states that the TikTok account must be in the same region as the shop. TikTok Shop also explains that, for global sellers, it supports one shop for each target selling country. This means that switching the account to Italy may be a necessary step for the connection, but in some cases it may still not be enough if the TikTok Shop itself is already configured for a different market.
If “Italy” is not available in the selector
If you do not see Italy as an available option, we recommend that you:
update TikTok to the latest version;
make sure you are physically located in Italy or that your account is active in Italy;
contact TikTok Support, because region availability depends on your account conditions and market eligibility.
